We were reliably informed of a plan to bring protestors from Berbice to create trouble in Georgetown. Once again, a plan to engage easily manipulated supporters to put themselves in harm’s way. A plan to foment violence in Georgetown, using people from Berbice is just plain stupid, considering the number of villages that must be passed to get to Georgetown and back to Berbice.
We urge insurance underwriters not to increase insurance rates as the PPPC intend to burn their own properties. Our message to protestors is to protest peacefully if you must but ignore orders to engage in violence.
