Windsor Estates’ principal, Danny Sawh is playing politics; land should be allocated to committed developer

Principal of the 30 acre Windsor Estates deal, Mr Danny Sawh has learned nothing from the backlash received by Giftland’s Roy Beepat who also insisted on inserting his company into a politically confusing process which requires the intervention of the courts and the constitutionally assigned body responsible for these issues, GECOM.

Both Sawh and Beepat, obvious PPPC supporters, have decided to use what they believe to be their leverage; (Beepat reports that he hires many Black people, while Sawh’s development will mean jobs,) to blackmail the coalition to accept a flawed and fraudulent vote counting process.

We find this unacceptable and are calling on NICIL to suspend this deal indefinitely and / or to identify another developer for the project, since demand for housing is high and this project has both attractive ROI and payback period. Many apolitical developers will be happy to take this deal.

Guyana must not be held hostage by partisan hacks who assume their money gives them the power to abuse GECOM and hold the Guyanese people to ransom. We the citizens who live here in Guyana, find his position unacceptable and call for an immediate review of this agreement by NICIL!

  1. Becoming need to go ahead and announce the APNU winner of the election. Then let the opposition fight the reault in the court of law. We also need to get rid of the out side observers ,they are helping to cause confusion in Guyana.
