Georgetown, Guyana – The fact that very few people will be surprised by the identification of the coalition MP who betrayed his comrades, his coalition and his country, and the very ideals of integrity and character, is a sad statement on the divided state of Guyana in 2018. We do not know why the dishonorable MP Charrandas Persaud betrayed the people of Guyana, but it has provided an opportunity for the coalition to strengthen their position as they prepare to make the case to the citizens of Guyana that they deserve to remain the leaders of Guyana. Mr Charrandas Persaud will have to answer to his own conscience for his actions.
The people of Guyana are confident that the coalition for which they voted, the coalition which rescued them from 23yrs of extrajudicial killings, corruption, racism and drug-dealing will not abandon it’s commitment to the democratic ideals which makes our country great.
In three short years, the coalition has lowered VAT, raised public servant salaries, restored law and order, fought against money laundering and corruption, empowered communities and restored the dignity of Guyanese and the reputation of our great country.
Tonight, as our nation reels from the result of PPPC’s political shenanigans, we urge all citizens of our great nation to remain calm but resolute, calm but determined not to be cheated, calm but purposeful, calm but energized. The people of Guyana must not succumb to PPPC’s chicanery.
We at guyanapolitics2020.com wish to unequivocally state that the PPPC party of racism and division, will not succeed in their quest to regain political power. Thoughtful people of Guyana just do not wish to return to the dark days of PPPC terror. We therefore encourage the citizens of Guyana to remain hopeful and we remind all citizens of Guyana to treat each other with love and respect during these anxious times and as the coalition navigates the path to victory in 90 days. The coalition will win free and fair elections, there is no doubt about that.
Please be reminded that the PPPC is known for inciting violence and paying desperate people to engage in violence activities so as to reinforce stereotypes and fears and to create divisions in the country. We urge all citizens to resist calls by the opposition to engage in nefarious activities.
Guyana is the land of our birth, it is the land we love, we must work together to ensure that all citizens, regardless of race or status in life, are allowed to work in peace to achieve their goals. We all have a role to play in making that happen. We must reject racism, corruption, extrajudicial killings and hatred. We must reject the People’s Progressive Party. God bless the people of Guyana. God bless Guyana.

Writer,
please excuse my perplexity as the subject article has thrown me into a state of depression/ anxiety disorder. As I pen this note, the following questions come to mind;
1. Does the timing of this event that occurred within the hollowed halls of parliament and the subsequent incursion by the Venezuelan Navy (12.22.2018 which I suspect was also empowered by the presence of Russian Military towards the west? Did the unpatriotic, greedy, power hungry embicle (leader of the opposition)cut a deal with a foreign cabal of government (s)?
2. Where is the government’s intelligence mechanism? Writer, I’m fully aware of several former highly trained intelligence operatives amongst the current government. ‘ the man in the street’ had intelligence before hand that there was a traitor in camp and nothing was done. The ‘ Trinidadian Mogul” or financier needs to bee rooted out and made public- What interest does this despicable individual ( if the man in the street intelligence is accurate ) in Guyana’s affairs?
3. Who are the other Judases? I am 120% certain there are 2 or 3 more…laying in the shadows-
Lastly, Guyanese – Afro, Indo, Chinese, Portuguese, indigenous . Etc….Be vigilant- better United than separated. One People One Nation One Destiny.
