What we find most tragic with all that has unfolded E-Day plus 4, is the fact that the observers both local and international have not to date published any condemnation in relation to the thuggish behaviour of the members of the PPP/c at the GECOM media center.
On Wednesday evening, all of Guyana and the world saw PPP/c members storm GECOM, threaten staff members, verbally abuse the GECOM CEO and RO, and not one of the observers who were present said anything about their conduct.
Nowhere in the world including where all of the international observers live would they encourage their staff or citizens to work under the condition that the GECOM staff faced at the hands of the PPP/c who also had persons with guns and thugs like Sean Hinds in GECOMD.
One cannot ignore the fact that Jagdeo is using the international community as his weapon in his bid to force GECOM to process fake SOPs. Jagdeo made it public that he had copied and shared his party SOPs with the international community and will make it public for all to see. What Jagdeo did is; without giving GECOM a chance to do its job, planted a seed which suggested that the PPP/c had won the elections.
Observers are supposed to be unbiased, sad to say we cannot say that those who have been observing our electoral process have been doing so in an unbiased manner. Based on the observers statements in relation GECOM’S Region 4 declaration, you’d notice that they are all hinting at a change in result that may go in the PPP’s favour. One statement went as far as to say they have “credible evidence of electoral fraud” (From where or who? Jagdeo)
It is with this and a number of other factors in mind, that the Guyanese populace and the APNU+AFC coalition must ask themselves whether they are hosting international Observers or International Conspirators.

Yes for some reason the observers fell asleep when GECOM was stormed by unauthorised persons; there was no concern by these so called observers that the authenticity of the results can possibly be compromised by the presence of unauthorised PPP persons but suddenly they are now out of their slumber. Hypocrisy at its best I say.
